Input/Output Board for Security System
The Cardax Scout II is an input/output board that connects to the Cardax Commander II, allowing monitoring of inputs (e.g. PIR motion detectors, reed switches, plant alarms) and control of outputs (e.g. alarm sirens, lighting control). I was responsible for all the software development on this project, which involved programming the Phillips 80C552 (an 8051 derivative with an on-chip A/D converter) in assembly language and PL/M-51 and debugging the prototype hardware with the electronics designer.
